Taryn Bond (Taryn)
Raised in Colorado, Taryn began her yoga journey at the age of nine when her dad first introduced her to Vinyasa practice and the art of yoga. After an injury ended her childhood-long gymnastics career, Taryn began to take her practice more seriously in her later high school years - practicing more intensively, reading spiritual works, and even teaching flows to her siblings and friends (just for fun!). She knew that she wanted to teach someday by the age of 16, and was hooked almost instantly by the joy that comes with sharing such a beautiful practice and helping others to grow as a yogi and beyond. The day after she finished her senior year of high school, she went to Bali to complete her 200-hour teacher training which she completed in June of 2017.
Yoga has provided Taryn with the skills to live her most radiant life. Uniting mind, body, and spirit and allowing herself time to "just breathe" has transformed her whole perspective and helps her continue growing into her best self each and every day. When not on the mat, Taryn is working towards a degree in Social Work and French at the University of Hawaii and loves reading, writing, hiking (in true Coloradan style), surfing, spending quality time with friends and family, and soaking up the sun every opportunity that she gets!
